The Michigan Department of Human Services (MDHS) partnered with Wayne County 3rd Circuit Court to conduct a federal grant funded fatherhood evaluation program called the Dads From Day One Program (DFD1). MDHS contracted Courtland Consulting to evaluate the DFD1 Project and to develop two websites and a case management database (CMD) system in support of the project. The DFD1 public website provided events, program information, contact form, father facts, partner service providers, and a secure login to the project portal. The DFD1 project portal website was a custom content management system (CMS) and provided board and project staff with meeting information, grant history, access to the CMD, online calendar, agendas/minutes, and resource documents. The DFD1 CMD web application was built to track pilot cases and interfaced with Michigan Child Support Data for program tracking through the courts system as one of the project’s evaluation measures.
